HELP! My Aspire 5552 won't boot! [BLACK SCREEN]

Ok so about a month ago I was running my laptop and was using AC power, i accidentally pulled the cable out of my laptop. Anyway I tried to boot the laptop and I get a black screen, no indicator lights show except the power and the cd drive spins up. I have tried holding power for 60 secs etc. but still won't boot, I have also tried to take out RAM etc. and it still won't boot. I'm really annoyed as my HDD went about 3 months ago, I have learnt my lesson, I'm not getting a laptop again, Desktop all the way! I really need my laptop up and running, I have already blown 160 pounds on this thing getting my HDD etc. please HELP!!
