Google chrome and W700

Ok I have installed chrome and chrome beta and that chominuim but no matter what I can not use the browser with the touch screen.  The tool bar and tabs work but when I try to scroll in a page or click a link it just does not work. Anybody else having this issue or know a way to fix this?

Re: Google chrome and W700

The problem is in chrome itself! It doesn't like the default 125% scaling of the desktop! If you set it to 100% chrome will behave but everything is very small and almost unusable! BTW IE10 is faster than Chrome on this tablet and is more touch friendly!

Re: Google chrome and W700

When chrome is opened in desktop mode 1. Go to settings(on chrome) 2. Press the "run in windows 8 mode"... it should now be full res(not blurry) and work with touch, tell me if you have further problems :smileyhappy:

Re: Google chrome and W700

Thanks OrionBG I have mine at 160% so I right clicked chrome icon and disabled the scaling in that one program and it works now. Also I like chrome because of the adblockers (I don't even get youtube ads or anything anymore) and cookie\tracker blockers that I use plus some of the advanced settings in chrome make it touch friendly.

Re: Google chrome and W700

I use Chrome on my non touch PCs too and I like it, but as much as I reconfigure it in about:flags at 1920x1080 and 100% scaling everything is still too small and the page scrolling is choppy as opposed to IE10's absolutely fluid scroll and much bigger drop down menus in web pages!

Re: Google chrome and W700

As much as I enjoy Chrome I have the same issue on the W510. It literally refuses to work or stops working. If completey freezes. Sometimes opening a new tab will work and than i can refresh the oriiginal window mostly I been akin to have a shortcut of the task manager on my desktop/Tab to access easyily and shuit it out and reopen. It pisses me off to be honest lol. My dock has pulled me out of not doing that but only at times. Chrome as your main Browser on the Modern U.I part works fine from the destop horrible! Only part in making Chrome your main search it makes Internet Explorer a desktop and not modern u.i that bothers me as well you cant have both in the modern u.i/Start menu

Re: Google chrome and W700

Hi there, I have uninstalled Chrome but the touch screen still not response properly sometimes. Is there anyway I could remove the Chrome more completely and it will work find under the scale of 150%?

Thanks
