As above,my Aspire X1301 turns on for seconds then turns off for no reason.
I've applied new thermal paste yesterday to see if this would sort the problem & looked like it did.I had the pc on all day without any issues & turned it off last night & went to bed.
Woke-up this morning & turned the pc on,but it turned off within 2 seconds with no bleeps.
I then turn it on again (5 seconds later) & it's working as should :-/
Using Speedfan to check temps, they look ok.
I also did a ram test last night & it can back as no issues.
Running Windows 7 x64 with onboard 9200GPU & 4GB Ram.

The motherboard Caps are not busted & look in good condition.

Do you guys think it maybe the PSU ?

These pc's come with poor 220w psu's running quad cpu's (2.6GHz) & can run games like COD,GTA & L4D2.So do you think the PSU is a little poor for such games & has been burning it's self out over time :-/

The symptoms certainly sound like it may be a power issue.

It is not something I could positively diagnose over the Community, however.

We would suggest contacting technical support in your region for further assistance with this issue.

I've since bought a Corsair TX 750 PSU & it kept giving me the same issues :-/

Looks like the PSU is ok & now I'll need to turn my attentions to the Motherboard.
