Hi! First of all a short explanation.
I work in IT. We bought 3 of this notebooks. I tried to install W7 on them. So, I set the bios password to disable the security boot. But I also set the other 2 passwords available to set, including hdd password. I couldn't install W7 but I install W8 pro instead. The thing is that my partner putted wrongly 3 times the hdd password when trying to remove it.
So the notebook get blocked. But we needed to deliver the notebook to the user on time, so we exchanged the hdd with one of the notebooks that weren't installed yet. The second notebook with the installed hdd has booted perfectly normal, and we were able to remove every password. But the original notebook with the clean hdd, is still blocked.
I have tried removing the hdd but it makes no difference. We need some assistance here. There is no technical support in my country and the current restrictions in import/export here make almost impossible to send the notebook to the official support in USA.
Any idea to help us? Thanks.

passwords have to be removed by contacting support

Do you know if it can be done calling them?
Because I had a chat with a really really nice guy of the acer chat suppor, and he told me to send the nb to USA.

i do not believe can be done over phone, only physically in service center
