I'm currently having the same problem that most people experience with their Aspire One BIOS, My Computer turns on but my screen does not recieve power, However my problem is not resolved by flashing the BIOS with the correct Files(which were properly renamed) as most are. I have replaced the original OS With Ubuntu(Linux) I'm not sure if this could affect it.
Any Input is appreciated.

Did you have this problem before or after you reloaded the OS with Linux?

Awhile after, it just happened randomly months later.

It may be the OS, even though I've never heard of Linux having major issues with this comptuer. Try De-Grubbing the hard drive, put the origional os on there and then see if it is the same issue. If not, then we know it is an OS issue and not a hardware issue.
