My hard drive recently paper weighted, I replaced it and apparently the recovery software is on a partition on the useless HD. Acer support says its unavailable. I have the windows sticker still so I would hate to pay for a new copy of a OS I already own. Thanks in advance for any help.

What its mean useless HDD? It's died totally? Its no chance to copy hide partition from one hdd to your new one?
If i good remember you can download any cpy of Windows 7 from p2p and when you will be install it just type your cd-key.
