Acer aspire s3 Audio Issue

I have an issue with the audio jack or may be with audio drivers.
Here's the issue,
My Notebook detecting any headphones,microphones or headsets with microphones as speakers!
This issue is getting very annoying..
I Tried it in several different jacks and devices and they either show up as speaker or nothing at all.
I can hear through the headphones, but sound is very noisy as they identifies as speakers.
Can anyone help me???

Specifically which S3 model do you have?

Can you provide a list of what make/model headphones/sets and mics you have used?

What software are you attempting to adjust the audio devices with?
