Acer aspire 5250 won't boot with fully charged battery and ac plugged in, help?

Hello, I have an Aspire 5250 notebook that will not start with the AC power and battery plugged in, I've tried swapping the battery and replacing the AC power cord with success, can someone please tell me what is wrong with it? I need it for school. Thanks in advance!

Please rephrase what you are asking.

The red highlight above states that you have successfully done something, but it is not clear what you have done.

Does the unit power on with battery only?

Does the unit power on with AC only?

Does it continue to NOT power on with both AC and battery?

What did you replace? What was successful?
