Acer T232HL

Just bought one of these touchscreen monitors, and I really like it so far. I was finally able to get the touch working on Windows 8 after a little internet searching.

The problem I'm having now is that the swipes from the side don't do anything. It works if I use the mouse, but not with a finger.

I have re-calibrated the monitor, several times, and that was no help. I was able to download the driver from the Acer site, but windows says the driver already installed is more up to date.

I did upgrade this computer from Win 7 to Win 8, if that makes any difference.

Anyone have any suggestions?

    Hello,

I have little off topic but I can't get anybody to answer this. Does your T232HL get warm/hot on right upper part of screen? Sorry I'm not contributing to solving your problem but I would really appreciate if you answer this question. Thanks in advance.

It's barely warmer than the left side, so I would so not really.

I had alredy done those steps prior to your reply. I did not help.

I returned the monitor as defecrtive to the place of purchase. The second one works as it should.
