Acer S7 problem adjusting volume using keyboard

Hi, I am not sure if I am the only 1 having this problem. I came online to search for solutions to solve my wireless connectivity issues and after I updated my drivers and restarted my S7, I realised I can no longer use "Fn+Up" or "Fn+Down" to adjust my volume. As for adjusting brightness, Home or End is fine, it is only my up and down keys not working with my Fn key.

Can some1 help?

try a refresh on the windows 8 settings and see if the issue remains.

hello! i have experienced the same problem aflter i updated my drivers.

i went to settings and i refreshed the windows. the refresh operation deleted some of my files, i had to install some apps again but it solved the volume control issue.

    good luck!

I'm not sure that refreshing will solve your problem.

However, to answer your specific question, to refresh, in general -

    Charms

    Settings

    Change PC Settings

    General

scroll down to Refresh Your PC Without Affecting Your Files

    continue with the menu.

I have not done this myself so I am not sure if it wipes any files/apps or not. If you are going to do this I strongly suggest a restore point and file backup before proceeding.
