Acer Cashback

I bought my Iconia W700 beginning of August and sent in my details a month later to get my £100 cashback, on the 2nd September I got an email confirming that it had been accepted and would take about 56 days to get into my bank account. I've been onto my Acer account and that confirmed that the Claim was accepted.

Today I got an email asking me to send photos of the serial number and model number which were to be found on the side of the unit. I took the photos and emailed them back. Now I have recevied another email saying that the serial number should start with the letters NTL, mine started with SN .....

So, after all this time, it's looking as if my claim isn't going through because my serial number is wrong!! Are they trying to wriggle out of sending my £100 OR HAVE I JUST BEEN SCAMMED!!!!

Anyone else had this?

Sounds like you sent the SNID (11 numbers) and not the Serial Number (alphas and numbers, lots longer)
