I have got the acer aspire v5-431 with windows 8 and in trying to connect to the wifi using N1 Belkin router but im unable to do so. When i click on connect, its checking for network requirment and says that its unable to connect. My router has got WPA-PSK security with 802.11g. I have tried changing the SSID but still no luck. I've also tried restarting the router as well many times. I own an hp 113-sa with windows 7 and have no problem connecting to wifi with that. I'll be so greateful if you guys can help.

Ensure that you are using the same SSID on both devices.
Have you entered the correct security key?
Check that your Acer has a valid network address and subnet mask.
Check that the Belkin is set to allow new wifi connections. Quite often, new connections are denied by default for security reasons.
