How much RAM can it support and how many ram slots are there? The data sheet shows max 8GB and only 2 slots available but this can't be true. Can anyone confirm the correct numbers?

I have the same question. Maybe someone from Acer will reply.

Just looked, there are 4 memory slots, 2 open. The current memory is Elpida 10600S-9-10-F2. CPU-Z reports that it is running at 1.5v. It is DDR3-10600 memory, but all I could find on the internet was rated at 1.35v.

NewEgg is having a 72 hour sale on memory that looks correct. I just bought 2 to upgrade the laptop to 16gig.

I checked my laptop and see 4 DIMM slots. 2 of them are occupied by Hynix $GB PC3-12800S RAM. Did anybody upgrade the laptops with this RAM and if so what RAM did you use.
Thanks in Advance.

My ram was 1.5v and I used this ram from Newegg:
G.SKILL 4GB 204-Pin DDR3 SO-DIMM DDR3 1333 (PC3 10600) Laptop Memory Model F3-10600CL9S-4GBSQ. This matched the speed and the voltage of the existing ram. Is your machine a v3-771g-9441?

As Leoscott suggested I ran the CPU-Z scan and see the following specs for the preinstalled memory Hyndai 4GB DDR3 1600 (11-11-11-28). I ordered a RAM from Amazon and will about the progress later.
