is acer aspire 4530 ok to run 64 bit

its specs are processor:AMD athlon(tm)X2 dual-core QL-60 1.90 GHz

ram 2.00GB

says its a 32bit system but i know someone bfor me installed windows vista on it so idk if its right its ben haveing 

the blue screen of death come up i have not found anything wrong i tryed almost everything i 

can think of  im thinking mabye its a 64bit not 32 bit anyhelp would be nice

    your laptop contains a dual core processor which will support a 64 bit operating system and I would also get rid of Vista and upgrade to Windows 7 as the 2 gigs of ram and 1.9 ghz processor should support the upgrade. Of course your video card may not meet the requirements, but that will only mean that you cannot use aero. But whether the os installed is 32 or 64 bit should not cause the blue screen of death. check the error code when the blue screen comes up and google it, maybe that will help you to find the cause.
