how do I fix a code 19 error?

My CD-ROM drive no longer functions. Device manager tells me that "Windows cannot start this hardware device because its configuration information (in the registry) is incomplete or damaged. (Code 19)" My OS is Windows 7. Any ideas?

You can try using the steps listed by Microsoft at http://support.microsoft.com/kb/314060. If that does not resolve your issue, I would recommend you contact Acer technical support.
