Thanks, but what is the battery MODEL NUMBER? This is needed to find a compatible battery with the correct electrical specs as well as the right physical shape.

This might not be of much help, but the model number for the included battery is AL12B32.  It appears to be available all over the internet.  If you don't find it too annoying to carry around a second battery all of the time, then it could work.
