Let's hope they do. There is no reason not to have access to full power when you are plugged in, they really should make it an option. However outside of that, the CPU works well for your everyday use and I'm happy with its performance.

Thats exactly my point, it should be a option, maybe they [word filter avoidance] up the cooling system and are afraid of it going a-wire or something, at least u buyers deserved an explanation.

Has anyone looked at how the heatsink is applied to the chipset ?? Just a thought . . . I nevered bothered looking when I upgraded the SSD ![]()

If only i had one i wouldnt had a problem with disassembling it and see it, but fortunately this isnt the case.

Thats how i am, when im curious i dont care and ofc returning to a retailer is easy here, u have 14 days to return for money no question asked, just need to say its not up to my expectations.

So true. We need some kind of "Acer Settings" software that would allow us to select the tablet performance mode.
- Power Saver
- Default
- Performance (no throttling on AC).

I will be receiving my W700P tomorrow and according to the distributor it is the new version with the keyboard case! I'll be doing some extensive tests with it and report back as soon as possible!
