Hello, I need help making my Aspire 5333 run faster and more quiet. How do I do that?

Well if i knew more about the unit i would be able to give a better answer for you.

Here are some general things to make the unit run a little better.

1. Get rid of bloat ware.

2. Adjust what programs to have on start up. (There is no need to have allot of programs running on startup)

3. If you are running on base model try to upgrade the RAM (Ram for that model is fairly cheap)

4. Adjust your Antivirus program to use as little resources as possible. (Some actually have different modes to allow this)

In order to make it quieter the only way is to have it run cooler. Pretty much all you can do is buy a SSD non mechanical drive and ensure your fans are running correctly by using the latest drivers and BIOS.
