Format and reinstall windows 8.1 which can do from REMOVE EVERTHING AND REINSTALL WINDOWS&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;2. Update 3 related drivers ( I/O, Chipset &amp;amp; Touchpad)&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;3. I&lt;SPAN&gt;f you've done everything but touchpad still freezing, you send in and tell them you've done the software part, left ACER service center to do the HARDWARE part, than this will save LOTS of TIME, they can do the job easily&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Dear all...&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I just came back from Acer Local Service Center which called 'Highpoints'.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I send in the V3-371 laptop yesterday (15.10.14) and i got it back just now (16.10.14)&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;From the technician part, he told me that something wrong with the touchpad.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;They rework the touchpad board, which mean they resolder the touhpad board, and reconnect the touchpad cable.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Now the problem solve, no more freezing issue.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Dear friends, you and send it and try this ...&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Regards&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Sauying&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;in fact, Acer should start investigate&amp;nbsp;this issue.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;As you can see, most of us are suffer from Touchpad Freezing, we're from various Country, like French, Malaysia,&amp;nbsp;&lt;SPAN&gt;Netherlands Hong Kong, Taiwan and many more.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Can ACER do something besides send to local service team ??? This is ridiculous because this is not a End User Problem. Nothing can help us !&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;On the software side,&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;i've reformat and install new driver, and even other compatible driver .... results is same !&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;On the hardware side,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;i can't open the chasis as the warranty will void.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Anyone can help ???&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;i'm sure that this is hardware failure.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;if not, how come so many people report in ??&lt;/P&gt;</description>

Use keyboard and install TouchPad_Synaptics_18.1.22.2 which released by Acer on 16.9.14&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;5. Teng Teng Teng Teng .... mouse still freezing ...hang sometimes&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I bought V3-371 on 1st September (Malaysia Set)&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Problems on touchpad also...&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;freezing and not sensitive ...sometime it doesn't move and jerking ...&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Tried few solution&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;1) Reset , format and reinstall windows - Touchpad freezing also !&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;2) Update BIOS -&amp;nbsp;&lt;SPAN&gt;Touchpad freezing also !&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;3) Install&amp;nbsp;&lt;SPAN&gt;Synaptics drive which has been released on 16.9.14 - Touchpad freezing also !&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;4) Applied screen protector on touchpad - Touchpad freezing also !&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;5) use external mouse - no problem at all !!&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;i call authorize Acer service center in Malaysia - Highpoints&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;They told me that something wrong with the touchpad .. need to sent in. &lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;They've received the Report and Service Solution from HQ.. which means this is Hardware Defeat !!&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Acer should admit it and recall this batch of V3-371 ... why they never do this ! felt disappointed!&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;bro, try to uninstall ur wifi driver... u need to uninstall the drivers several times as ur computer will try to install the previous drivees automatically.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;once u finished uninstall, install the latest driver (3rd march ) driver from acer&lt;/P&gt;</description>
