Help upgrading acer aspire v3 731!?

Hi I am trying to upgrade my acer aspire v3 731 laptop. I have done my utmost best to research it to the best of my ability and I have found that I can upgrade my cpu; however, I need to know if I can upgrade the gpu. I know that the laptop has a pentium b960 cpu with intel hd graphics (not sure which version though, I only know that it is intergrated graphics) and was wondering if I could install a better graphic card via the pci-express card slot that my laptop has or installing it in some way. Also if you could explain what a pci-express card does. I have googled it and asked other tech savvy people that have actually taken courses but not one of them gave me a definite answer.

Your help is much appreciated.
