i got an error when i did DOS. i don't know much about computers but could it be that i need to flash an older (newer then what i have now) version first and after that the newer one?

when i flash from windows then i go in to WIN folder and run the BIOS_WIN bat? because when i do that this comes up.

Reading file ........... done

FFS checksums ........ ok

-ROM file size does not match existing BIOS size.

okej i have made a DOS bootable device but when i boot with it i don't see any files just C:/ and i have no clue why.

well i have read up about flashing the bios and to be honest i'm not sure i even want to try it myselfe. Don't feel that confident to flash the bios on my own seems risky and complicated. pc noob over here haha.

No a sandy bridge i think atleast it says so in CPU-Z. right now i have an i3 2120 and bought an i5 3570k so maybe i bought the wrong cpu and the cpu might not work with my motherboard?

As the title says i need some help finding the right BIOS version and right now i have P02-A2 2011-10-31 and an Acer predator G3610.

The reason i need an update is because i have bought a new CPU and when i start the computer it only starts for like 2 sec then turns off then on again an then it beeps 3 or 4 times then it's quit and on but never goes in to windows just a black screen so my guess is that i have an old bios version that dosen't recognize the CPU.
