I have scoured the internet and apparently this is a common problem across lots of PCs and lots of cd/dvd drives.

Aparently this is due to a Windows update , the problem is now is to find out which .

I intend to uninstall the updates one by one until it rectifies itself and then update one step at a time

I have an Apire Z5600 all in one , the problem is with the Optiarc Ad-7643s DVD.

It will open CDs but not DVDs .

Windows 7 devices manager shows it as being a SCSI CD ROM.

I've tried uninstalling driver and rebooting , still the same

Any ideas

Hi , I have just reinstalled Windows on my Z5600 , the problem is the display is now stretched left-right

I have been on the Acer site and downloaded the new drivers and even run the updater.

So what have I down wrong orhow can I adjust the size etc
