I have acer aspire v5-571-6471 with factory installed windows 8 later updated to windows 8.1.

I wanted to reinstall windows, I tried to reset pc from pc sttings. it gave me error (there was a problem resetting your pc).

Then i tried to recover image of system made by acer backup manager right after i bought laptop, but at 54% it got stuck even after 8 hours it didn' t crossed 54%. I canceled and closed acer backup manager. this is where the problem came. none of the metro app are working now. when i try to install acer recoery management (which also stopped working) it gave error "Error parsing c:\windows......... 0xC00CE556 (it is somthing to do with .net framework)".

I have created the recovery usb by selecting 'copy the recovery partition from PC to recovery drive', it's not working either. giving same error (there was a problem resetting your pc.)
