I have an Acer Aspire V3-731-4477 with a bad hard drive. I have a new HD and ordered the recovery disks from Acer. The problem is when I run the recovery disks they install windows 7 home premium without a key. Originaly I had Win 8. I went back to the Acer order page and it shows (Windows 7 & 8) without giving a chance to choose. Do I have the wrong disks? How do I install Win 8 with the disks Acer sent? Do I need order diffrent disks?

I went into BIOS and set the boot to legacy and enabeled D2D recovery.

Please help

Thanks
