Re: Utilizing AMD Crossfire for Dual Graphics

If that is the case then Acer is guilty of false advertising. The sticker on the side of the machine says AMD Radeon 7660D (onboard video) + HD 7470 (discreet) in Dual Graphics mode. This would mean that the two "video cards" would be working in tandem is that not correct? However just as you said the discreet card disables the onboard video even though Acer claimed that the PC was capable of/ was built with Dual graphics enabled.

I have an Acer AM3420-UR20P that has the AMD A10-5700 apu. It also has an HD7470 2GB graphics card in it. The thing that I am trying to fix is the onboard graphics have apparently been disabled somehow. The onboard Radeon graphics don't even display in Windows device manager. Is there a way to enable the graphics portion of the apu, and utilize the AMD crossfire capability with the HD7470 graphics card? We are utilizing this machine in our church for our productions each Sunday. If we use multiple video files during the service the PC tends to get laggy/lock-up. I feel that the video card situation is holding us back. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.
