Acer factory reset stuck on software installation

I have an acer aspire 5750g and recently It stopped working. Thankfully, I managed to get it up and running again using Alt + F10 and doing a factory reset. The problem is it is now stuck on "installing office 2010" and it does not move from there. I have not installed the windows 7 or Microsoft office 2010 disc during this period as it is pre installed....so what do I do? Please help

My Acer Aspire 5750g has been extremely reliable. All of a sudden it's had this problem.

A few days ago my laptop when dead, so I charged it up and pressed power and the "Acer" logo comes up, flashes black with a little dash ( - ) that flashes then it reboots back to the Acer screen and restarts the process over and over again. Basically, my laptop is stuck in boot!

When i turn it on, it shows "press f2 key for setup" and "f12" for boot options. Ive explored both of these keys and nothing has worked. Except when pressing a boot option in "f12" menu, it displayed a message saying "Media Test Failure, Check Cable" on boot.

What is going on? Is my HDD dead?

PLease please please help! I've never had Acer problems until now
