      <description>&lt;P&gt;The reason we can't get any drivers to work for the keyboard and mouse on this model and it's predecessor is in part due to the I2C drivers, which I have found various forms that would have worked. The reason those drivers do not work though is due to the fact that the SeaBios/Coreboot firmware does not have a full ACPI implementation in it for the hardware in these machines. Once someone actually overcomes that and makes SeaBios more like an actual BIOS for PC implementation, then we will be able be able to install I2C drivers from other notebooks, namely Dell and Samsung notebooks as they use the exact same hardware in them as these Acer models do. So, developers, get cracking on the firmware and implement a full ACPI solution for haswell and we'll all benefit from it.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
