it works....I have tried other update versions of BIOS. BIOS 1.01 is the best for Windows7 in the sense all keys are fine and the official touchpad driver works.

1 more solution: try to downgrade the BIOS to 1.01

also you might downgrade the BIOS to ver1.01...it works for me on win7.

I have tested different versions and personally I think this version gives the optimized experience.

or try to delete only the HID keyboard while reserving the PS/2

if the problem insists, try to delete the pointing device drivers...

I've been suffering the same problem....

Recently, I have tried reinstall the windows, the problem is solved instantly.

However, after updating the windows 7 OS, the problem come again...

solution: try uninstall the keyboard drivers.

control panel->device manager->keyboard->uninstall HID keyboard Device and standard PS/2 keyboard

->restart the Acer NB.
