Acer Aspire 5732Z Intermittent backlight Issue

Hi,

My name is John and I am new to the forums and wanted to say hello to everyone. That being said, I have a friend's mother's Acer Aspire 5732Z, it was given to me to be looked at for speed issues. I turn it on and the first issue I notice is the backlight does not work. The screen comes up, I can barely see it because the backlight does not work. So I press Function F6, the backlight turns on until i release the keys on the keyboard. Now the backlight only comes on every so often when I hit Function F6. Would anyone know if this is the invertor or some other issue? The bulb obviously works, but maybe something is not right with the keyboard and the switch for the backlight. I am just hinking outloud here. Anyone with any ideas please let me know! thanks!!
