I didn't get a CD with mine... but downloaded the 8.1 drivers from Acer's site. If the main Setup App doesn't work, there's usually a Win7 folder in each where the base driver files are kept so you can still update the drivers via Device Manager. The video display adapter is the only one that doesn't work from their site.

Well... If you had an E1-510, you would notice that Windows 7 installs a compatible 'standard' VGA driver which, for the most part works - for resolution and basic functionality. So any auto-detect or auto-update states that windows believes the most current driver is installed. I have already pulled Intel drivers off of Intel's site as well as from my own driver DB - most of which were for Windows 7. Yet when I install on this Windows 7, I get a 'software incompatible with the OS' message - which is extremely odd. So it's not as if I installed Windows 7 and then screamed for help. Been trying different things for this driver the past 2 days. Any other ideas would be appreciated.

Acer has recently posted a flash update which now allows this laptop to accept a Windows 7 USB install (THANK YOU). Many drivers were missing after install. Fortunately many of Acer's 8.1 drivers listed also had Windows 7 files included - EXCEPT for the display adapter. Windows standard VA driver provides correct resolution, but Aero functionality and some programs won't run well with it. Can someone please post and or tell me where to get a Windows 7 64 bit display driver for the E1-510? Thanks.

So, Acer has now posted an official updated flash for the Win7 USB boot issues - GREAT! Step 1 complete! I now have Win7 installed - but lack the majority of drivers. Hey Acer, can we get Step 2 (official Win7 Drivers out on your site) so we can all be very happy Acer customers and not have to ponder returning the laptop?

If anyone knows where to get the drivers, please share with me.

Thanks
