Thanks for the info but where do I find the option to switch from UEFI to Legacy? The bios version I'm running is 2.15.1236.

I even tried using a totaly different hardrive and still windows locks up so I"m assuming it is the bios causing this issue.

Windows 7 install fails on ATC- 105-EF30

My father recently picked up this model which comes with Windows8 but absolutely hates it so he asked me to put windows 7 on his machine which I have done a million times before.

After booting from the windows 7 the computer will lock up at the Starting Windows Screen. I have tried even buring a copy of my legit Win7 CD to see if that was the problem and no luck. I have tried removing the ram and even tried another cd-rom. I am at a lost on why this will not work.

To make mattters worse I even wiped all the recovery partitions on the drive so I can't even install windows 8 anymore.
