Hi ACER Tommy The computer just came back from the repair center, this is what they found and it had me stumped.

They installed a ACER Grahics card SKU Part number VG.PCU63.001 and it worked fine they tested the system no faults found. The AT3-600-UR33 system board will only accept external graphics cards in the PCIEx16 slot that only meet ACER specs. A little late in th day but I was not able tonight to find out more about this Graphics card but how ever online support did get me some contact phone numbers to the ACER store to purchase this and a company named Skyline up in Wisconsin.

www.skyline-eng.com So I guess this tells me that the AT3-600-UR33 will only accept ACER graphics cards ??

If you happen to find out a different card that meets the so called mystery ACER specs let us know out here.

My AT3-600-UR33 Just arrived back from the repair center. Reading the service report had me a bit stumped.

They tested mine using a ACER Grahics card SKU Part Number VG.PCU63.001 in the PCIEx16 slot they tested the system and no faults found....

The AT3-600-UR33 will only accept a Graphics card meeting ACER Specs, On Line support gave me some numbers to call ordering for this Graphics card. But I am trying to find more specs about it first and I wont be able to do that until Thursday morning. Acer Online Stores 800-910-2237 8am- 5pm CST, there is another number www.skyline-eng.com

715-698-4880. There is a catch to this folks you have to use a ACER graphics card, If anybody out there has tried something different that worked let us know.

Wow just what I wanted to hear, someone else having the same issue, I boxed up my AT3-600 UR33

and shipped it back to the Acer repair center with a RMA.. Now I am getting to wonder if this could

be a non correctable issue with this model and it is getting to sound like a BIOS issue. Well as soon as I hear something back from ACER repair center I will let you know. I tried everything I could also and even with 3 video cards Nividia and Radion all did the same thing No Video... Seems very stupid to put a PCIEx16 external Graphics card slot and have it not work..

According to Tech Support on Line it is supposed to work thats why they told me to return it with the Repair RMA.

Will seeeeeee ?

Thanks Acer Tommy I will be sending it to them, I have a RGA Case number assigned from the service center to ship it off to them. I will let you know on here on what they find. Keith

hi Kudos, Sorry for the late repaly I had to leave town on a trip, Oh ok, I back stepped some of my test and this is what I came up with. Disreguard in what I said about the Beeps on Bootup and post the Beeps are there, no matter which video port I use with the external graphics card or the On board video. I am running the latest BIOS P11-B0

Moving the card in and out with no video caused a Windows Crash that I had to do a complete restore and reload of the operating system. So at this point seeing what happened I have come to the conclusion that this mother board can not auto sense a external graphics card. My question is would it be the best option to return this to the repair center

in Texas ?? and is this something they would be able to repair this problem or is this the nature of the beast because of the Bios not allowing external graphics cards. ? Could they possibly load a different Bios that would work, Sounds like a million questions I know but just curious. Thanks again.

Hi Kudos thanks for getting back to me, Yes I have tried all of what you mentioned for me to try and I did, If I leave the video monitor connected to the main board at boot up post I do not hear the acknowleged beep from the the computer when powered on. But however when I shut it back down move the connector to the External video graphics card, Turn the computer back on I then get the acknowledged beep from the computer at post....This is the same case with 2 different monitors... Very strange

Sorry to everyone on my last Blank Post. I have a new Acer Aspire AT3-600 UR33

I have tried 3 different Video Graphics cards in the PCIEx16 Expansion slot.

NVIDIA GT-210, GT-610 and a older Radeon 512 MB graphics card all with no luck in getting any video.

I checked the BIOS settings only finding no setting for a Primary video graphics to the PCIEx16 Slot.

However I did note the video setings for the Video memeory size to 128mb and a DVMT Memory size at Maximum.

But I noticed that the DVMT Mode was Greyed out and could not be selected. Has anybody out there ran into this problem.? I contacted Acer online support which was not much help only giving me a RMA to return the computer to the repair center.... I deal with many computers and have built several of my own and for others in the past. I am getting to wonder if this is a BIOS design fault by not allowing the primary Graphics controller to the PCIEx16 card slot. My T3-600 has the latest current BIOS, I will contact the repair center directly to see if I can come up with any other answers to this problem before I have to really send it to them.

I just received a New Acer T3-600 UR33

I attempted to install 3 different PCIE video graphics cards NVIDIA GT-210, then a GT-610 and a Older Radeon 512mb Card all with the same results of No Video. I checked the Bios could not locate or even see a option to set the Primary Graphics to the PCIEx16 slot on the mother board. Any Ideas on whats wrong ???

Hi Everyone I am new to this site as well, I just received my new AT3-600 UR33 it all looked nice.

It runs ok , I installed a new fan on the back of the case to aid in cooling But I attempted to install a external Graphics card and ran into some problems. I attempted to install 3 different cards with all of the same problems No Video. A NVIDIA GT-210 , Nvidia GT-610 and a older Radeon 512mb PCIE card.. I went thru the BIOS setup which was not much help in finding a Primary Graphics setting to the PCIEx16 slot...Has anybody ran into this and what was the solution ?? I contacted ACER support in which they said for me to return the computer to the repair center located in Texas.
