Good day!

I am using Ascer (Aspire E1-571). Yesterday, the keyboard was functioning just fine until some of the keys went off. I mean, whenever I press Backspace it prints equal and whenever I press Enter it prints Backslash. My arrow keys don't work too.

How do I solve this?

Ps. I really need my laptop for work.

Thanks in advance!

Hi!

I changed my Acer's hard drive. As a result, the default factory settings and drivers for the laptop were deleted. I have downloaded all the drivers necessary, however my touch pad's scroll does not function anymore. I just want to ask what is the name of the driver for the touch pad that can enable the scroll function.

Also where can I view the installed driver for my touch pad?

Thanks!

One last thing, will it really be okay to interrupt the installation? It is already at 40/41 on Software Installation (but its there for more than 3 hours now) and also, it says "do not turn off your computer".

But it really is working very fine before the error happened. I think I will know if my system is slowly degrading but there is no signs of that. What could have caused it? Could it be because of the PXE E61 Media Test Failure error? Based on the scenario that I wrote, could you please tell me what could have gone wrong that my HDD crashed?

An intelligent insight from an expert would definitely help. I want to know what did I do that it crashed.

Now it got stucked up at "Software Installation: Installing Cleanup (40/41)".

What should I do? Do I shut it down?

Here's what have happened before I attempted the eRecovery:

My Acer Aspire E1-571 laptop works fine then suddenly it gives a blue screen. It appeared after watching a movie from my CD Drive. I was not able to read the message for it happens very quickly and it shuts down. After, I reopen it and this message appeared:
PXE-E61: Media Test Failure, check cable
PXE-M0F: Exiting Brodcom PXE ROM

I don't know what to do so I shut it down again and remove the external drives (the cd and a flash drive). Then after a few hours, I reopen it then it loads my system. After few hours of use, the blue screen appeared again. I shut it down and reopen it then show the PXE error the second time. Then I shut and open it and it loads again.

After, here's my problem, the process have gotten really really slow that it takes more than 10mins loading to the Log In screen, and after typing in my password it again consumes more than 10mins before loading the desktop. The processes are also very very slow that it takes 30mins for just copying small amount of data.

Hi! I'm running eRecovery management because my laptop (Acer Aspire E1-571) had gotten really really slow. Is it possible that it consumes more than 12 hours to run the eRecovery to restore my factory default setting? Because I'm experiencing it right now.

Just the other day I got an error "PXE E61: Media Test Failure" then I shut it down and reopen it. It loads the system however the proccess have become really really slow that even copying 90MB amount of data consumes 5 hours. It also lags whenever I try to do simple processes like creating new folder or opening the Windows Explorer.

Thanks!
