its not that bad, I still get about 2 hours on charges(used to get double that)

but at the same time I was wondering were there some aftermarket battieries that contained more cells/energy to last long

agreed, when pulling the power cord out, i often hit the on/off button inadvertenly

because for one if you buy a new laptop wifi should work already by default

also the USB is a fix works of course but now you have a USB port taking up a spot all the time now

I have an Acer R7-572, bought in november

in system/hardware it jus says i have a broadcom wifi adapter,no specific model

does anybody know the part number for the wifi adapter that came in the new R7-572? i got it about 1 week after they released these

yeh i was going to say, because a couple peopl on here reported they did upgrade to 16gig, the thing to remember is to get the correct voltage, i think its 1.3 instead of the normal 1.5 (dont quote me on this though)

anyboyd else have this problem?

trying to play music over my bluetooth speaker and browse the net,internet bogs down to like 1mb

turn off bluetooth and I get full 30mb down

what gives?

yeah I bought a 64gig SSD and installed windows 8.1 on that

I used the TB drive for my movies and music storage

system is much faster when windows resides on a SSD

There are a couple of threads about the R7 572 on here,one talked about the hardrive upgrade and memory upgrade.

But to answer your question anyway, when I upgrade to a SSD, I looked at the memory and I only saw 2 slots. Furthermore as you read its only supposed to max out at 16gig. I was thinking about upgrading too until I used a program called Cleanmem, which actually makes sure apps free up memory when done, and now I have determine that 16gig wont help me. (it will usually only help you if you currently are running low on membery)

no problem asking obvious because i didnt/dont know how to turn it on

but hitting that key combo simpy toggled be on/off(wifi) and airplane mode

at least from what I could tell

what indicator is there to let you know that bluetooth is one?(or off)

but shouldnt there be some bluetooth software or program on the computer?

drivers etc?

I cant seem to find bluetooth on my acer r7? Trying to hook up a bluetooth speaker

Isnt there supposed to be some software or something? Search bluetooth on my computer and nothing came up

can somebody help me here?
