I have had the same problems with my R7. After reading all these threads, it just occurred to me how the problem may have come about. I had my R7 for weeks before I noticed the problem, and I think I started noticing the problem after I changed the display settings to (allow automatic change of orientation when screen is moved). At first, the screen worked great, but the next time I tried lifting my computer, it immediately shut down. To test my theory, I lifted my computer doing my absolute best to keep to perfectly level. I was able to move it from one room to another while perfectly level. I currently have the feature tuned off so my screen won't automatically change. I'll try again here in a second to tilt my entire laptop to see if that causes the issue. I'm guess the mechanism that recognizes weight shift is faulty, or interfering with the power to the laptop. I'll fill in later.
