My touchscreen ha somtims no reaction i notice i mostly when typing an it eats letters from my text or sometimes i try press something 10 sconds sometimes and it doesnt react...im not sure but seems to happen when the ablet is plugged in ... but maybe a coincidece.
These interuptions in fnctionality and text is very annoying. Cant tell u how hard it was to type this text with this problem as u see some typos still present. Also scary tht it freezes and u dance with ur fingers on the screen an nothing happens.

Btw last 2 sentences i wrote without tablet being plugged in (wall socket to recharge) and i hadnt any interruptions....curious if its an isolated issue or not and if its due to the charger monitoring software lagging the system.

If you didn't alread tried a factory reset, i would do:
System settings/backup&reset/factory reset

You will loose all your personal data.

If issue persist, probably there's a short somewhere in the touchscreen.
Have you noticed if the same behaviour happens with USB connected to your pc?

I suggest you to contact your regional Acer support service.
