Touchpad scroll is not working on my Aspire 5750.

How can I start the scroll function again? I am not sure but I think it might happened after I deleted some programs from autostart? I have ELAN pointing device but should I also have some kind of Synaptics?

Hi Ingela, Go to:

Start --> Control Panel --> Mouse --> Hardware --> Click on your touchpad. Click on PROPERTIES. It should say, the device is working properly. If it shows a problem, or you want to update the driver, you would do that here, in Change Settings/Driver/Update Driver.

Now, Go to:

Start --> Control Panel --> Mouse --> Device Settings/Settings. Set the scrolling and other touchpad controls here. You can also click DEFAULT for return to original settings. When finished press OK.
