Yes you can, but you will need to search for drivers that will make everything work. Be careful where you get them from.

I usually scan the download with antivirus before I install.

I am a newbie, I really need a step by step list, where do I look to find the list of drivers that I will need, any suggestion for migrating to windows 8.1?

Go here:https://www.malwarebytes.org/ and download free Malewarebytes and save it to somewhere you will be able to install it after you install Windows 7 32 bit. Make sure its up and running.

Go here for drivers.Install the chipset first.
