You may need to remove all the screw in the base cover to open the base, then disconnect the battery cable from the mainboard connector. You may need remove one screw securing the battery pack to lift the battery pack from the system

Then disconnect HDD cable from the mainboard connector, remove HDD cable from HDD connector

Reverse the above steps to install hard disk

Acer does not publish customer accessable service guides and is only avaliable with repair technicians at Acer repair center.
