When I start my Aspire 'normally' in Windows-7. It will 'crash'. If I then choose the option to re-boot in 'Safe-Mode'. My Aspire will run o-k...Also If I leave it running in Safe-Mode, for about an hour, iv'e found I can the Re-Start Windows normally, and it will run, 'most-times' without crashing ??

I have done a complete 'Factory-Reset', but this didn't make any difference to my problem.

After just checking the 'Task-Manager', I noticed the my CPU-usage seems to spike at 100% for no apparent reason, even when there is very little running ?

Any Help much appreciated. Vic..

If a factory reset didn't fix it, you probably need repair. Could be bad MB or memory.

Thank's for your reply. I realise there is always the option of having something repaired, but knowing how costly Laptop-repairs can be, I was looking/hoping for some advice on anything else I could try myself..Regards...Vic
