I have this Aspire. It will only work with the adapter (tested fine) plugged in, even with a new battery. When turning it on without the adapter plugged in comes on for a fewseconds and turns off. When I unplug it, the screen will go green and after plugging it in looks like multicolor static. Then proceeds to shut down in 10-30 seconds. Ran hard drive scan and discovered it was starting to fail. So I've reloaded the OS on a new hard drive and nothing has changed. I've included a link. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TaGQuvDi9ok&feature=youtu.be

If you reloaded your OS on a new hard drive and it didn't fix it, it is probably a bad mainboard. From the video you posted, it sure seems like a hardware problem.
