recovery on new hdd failed, cant find image path, install.wim

I want to put my windows 8 system on a new harddrive. Because my hdd crashed. When I put in therecovery disks alle goed well but at the end it shows restore failed: cannot find imagepath: C:\images_tmp_IR\install.wim.

(exporting Pop010j223x80c31-> c:\images_tmp_Dir\install.wim failed)

if you have 2 DVDs, you must insert the number 2 and retry.

Hello thanks for helping me,

I have 5 recovery discs, they all work. After all the disks were ready with copying, the messenge was that the image couldnt be found. Install.wim

did you tried to boot pressing ALT+F10 and see if erecovery can start and re-install the system?
