network controller drivers for Acer aspire E1-531 windows7b 64 bits

I just upgrade my Acer Aspire E1-531 laptop from windows7 home premium 64bits to windows7 ultimate 64bits but missing the network controller drivers and wireless not working. please help as i could not find anything from acer website.

Open Device Manager by clicking the Start button,

clicking Control Panel,

clicking System and Security,

and then, under System, clicking Device Manager.
If you're prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.

Where you see the Yellow exclamation mark, double click it, choose "Details" tab, from the dropdown menu choose "HardwareIDs", click the first string and copy/paste here.

If you can hardwire your unit temporarily to the router and run a Windows Update , I'm sure it can find the driver under optional updates.

yes buddy i have hard wired the laptop to the router and download windows updates but did not find ethernet/network controller drivers.

still shows yellow exclamation marks on them and when i unplugged the ethernet cable the wirelless does not work. still shows red cross on the nic icon.

If a Vista Driver exists for it , try it , I've used a lot of Vista drivers on W7 for items that dont have a driver and its worked with a printer.

Did you see the post about trying the Vista Driver? It's worth a try. I heard some of the drivers are backwards compatible.

i went to acer's website but there was no drivers for win vista at all; it starts from win7 32/64 bits to win8.1.

could you find me the site which has a vista drivers?

you asked about Win7 x64bit drivers as topic, in the link i gave you the download page for your E1-531....

by the way, without the HardwareIDs from the exclamation mark on Network controller, i can't understand which WiFi adapter is inside your notebook.

I really appreciate you trying so hard to help me out but it still not working with your suggested link/drivers. i saved it on desktop then run it from there and reboot laptop but still no change.

Are you familiar with a diagnostic program called SiSoft Sandra? It can tell you what Wifi adapter is in your laptop without an actual driver installed. It queries the motherboard and reports the results on the screen.

Just so you know there is a free trial of it available but you have to pay attention to the options you are looking at when installing the trial - If you don't pay attention to it , you will get bundled toolbars and other unwanted stuff.

i downloaded si soft sandra free trial but not included my lan/wireless drivers.

so still no luck with this issue.
