Aspire E3-111 ram updage doesnt work

is i got a new Aspire E3-111 that has 2GB of ram, and i want to put one of my 4GB ram stick into my laptop but it doesnt work, the ram is the same type but it doesnt work. also the laptop freezes up when i play ME3 for more then 1 hour and i have to do a hard restart... i also made a video showing whats going on

so i updated the bios, but still nothing, i still cant get the 4GB ram to work.

If I'm not mistaken , the version that was included with that laptop is Windows 8.1 with Bing. Its a lower cost version of this OS then the full Windows 8.1 version is with feature limitations.

While this unit is not for gaming i found it rivaled the performance of my Dell XPS M1530 and outperformed my Geforce 8400GS M graphics card that was on the unit.

Tried Lego Marvel Heroes and it worked (had to set details to low)

Even though there are no fans on this unit I still use a cooling pad anyways to keep the surface cooler.

Don't downgrade the BIOS - 1.10 is needed to prevent the unit from doing random BSOD reboots present in 1.05

You should be able to put in up to 8 GB in that unit.Maybe your dimm is bad or not rifgt.

You can test your new memory stick with Memtest under DOS.

the laptop take a ram type called DRR3L ram. ny dad is going to bestbuy and see if he can get some help. (even thow i fond some ram already)
