How do I install Windows 8 after installing Ubuntu 14

I have Ubuntu installed at the moment unfortunately when I installed it wiped Windows off! I now want to reinstall Windows. I do have a recovery disc but it doesn't want to install. Do I need to get a proper installation disc?

I have discovered all about WIndows 8 and no recovery discs! I will need to get off of Acer I am not sure how much they cost but will see if I can find out.

Before you install Ubuntu on a Windows 8 machine you need to do the partitioning before you install as the installer will not do it automatically for you..
