      <title>Cable port to router inactive</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Acer Aspire 5250 - The wireless connection is working but when I plug in to use the wired connection the computer continues to connect wirelessly.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Also, in Device Manager it says Ethernet Controller driver is missing and Update Driver cannot find one.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thanks for any help,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Norman&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Thank you, that fixed it.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I had a problem along the way in that the computer did not know how to unzip.&amp;nbsp; I manually assigned Windows Explorer to handle .zip files but I do not understand why that was not automatically set up by Windows.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thanks again,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Norman&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
