4830TG-6450 WiDi issue

Hi,

My laptop has a label on the palma rest showing that it has Intel WiDi. I download the Intel Wireless Display 2.1.35.0 from Acer. After the installation under Windows 7 xx64 Home Premium, I run the WiDi but it is unable to find my Netgear Push2TV, PTV3000 adapter despite multiple scan. I also try to install and run it under Windows 8.1 Pro to no avail. I keep receiving a Windows "compatibilty issues" message. Any idea?

The provided link is for an Intel Proset WiFi driver. Is this needed for the Wireless Display to work?

Thanks for the link.

Unfortunately, I try every single WiDi version and none works. There is one driver which recognizes and connect to the Netgear PTV 3000 adapter; however it crashes to a BOD when try to send the laptop display over to the TV.
