Restore BIOS help please

Aspire V5-571 Win8.1 64bit

Problems with HDD. Had to backup personal data using Ubuntu CD. No problem at all.

can some one tell me how to restore BIOS to UEFI.

after changing to legacy i am unable to access BIOS via F2. so i can change back to UEFI, & then restore O/S back to factory settings using recovery.

Try pressing DEL key very early in boot process.
