Dear acer,

I bought 2 month ago an Aspire v5-573 laptop, that is running a Linux debian OS.

Since 3 days the laptop is randomely shuting down without reason, and I can't restart it until I press the small battery button at the back....

I'm a unix sys-admin working with that computer daily, and that's quite anoying. So before send it back for on month in rma, I wanted to update the bios. On your website there is only a windows .exe file. How am I supposed to do please?

I can't ask it trough your web-chat support cause, the buggy javascript tell me both the sn and snid is not recognized. I've trippe-checked it so, here I am.

Thanks for your support, I hope that you'll provide me a convenient solution.

regards
