How do I check turbo boost is enabled in new V3-772G laptop with Windows 8.1? Intel Turbo Boost Monitor 2.5 won't work with i7 4th generation processors & is EOL.

Can you confirm turbo boost to 3.2 GHz happens automatically? or is it disabled by default?

Go to Task manager (Right click windows logo at the bottom left), if you see the CPU speed is more than what your stated base speed, then the turbo boost works.

Change pc power plan to High performance, and it automatically boost cpu to 3ghz

Thanks for the answer. Mine is already set to High Performance. I wanted to know where I could see the processor speed.

You could download CPU-Z and find the speed of your processor.
